Welcome to the Atlas University family. As the School of Foreign Languages, we are delighted to welcome our valued new students. In this first step of your university education, our primary mission is to provide you with a strong language foundation and ensure a solid start to your academic journey.
At Atlas University's School of Foreign Languages, we aim to help our students acquire foreign language skills that will enable them to compete globally in their academic and professional lives. To this end, we offer language education that fully aligns with our university's mission of "cultivating individuals with universal values" and its vision of "becoming a leading internationally recognized higher education institution."
With our strong and dynamic academic staff who adopt innovative teaching methods that meet international standards, we support our students to make a solid start to their university life and aim to raise them as individuals who can operate with confidence in the global world.
Our Preparatory Program aims to provide our students with a solid language foundation for university education. It focuses on developing the four core language skills (reading, writing, listening, and speaking) in an integrated manner, rather than reducing language learning to just grammar and vocabulary memorization. It is built on an innovative, student-centered system implemented to international standards and acknowledging individual differences. Our curriculum, designed in accordance with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), utilizes differentiated teaching methods tailored to our students' individual learning styles and needs.
In addition to in-class activities, the social, cultural, and academic activities conducted in our multicultural campus environment create a rich experience where language is used as a natural means of communication. Our students have the opportunity to integrate language learning with critical thinking, intercultural understanding, and digital literacy skills, and they learn in a learning environment where they experience a foreign language not as a subject but as a natural part of life. Classrooms equipped with modern technology, access to online resources, one-on-one academic advising, and a continuous feedback system make the learning process transparent, trackable, and personalized.
