Application Process
1-Application
Inventor Invention Notification Form fills it out completely and sends it to Atlas TTO.
2-Evaluation
Atlas TTO receives the notification and begins investigating.
If there is missing information, it is requested to be completed.
Preliminary research is done and Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Board (FSMHK) evaluated by.
3-Decision
University for eligible applications claiming entitlement located.
Contributions from the inventor are received when necessary.
4-Registration Process
Atlas TTO and FSMHK carry out the patent or utility model application process.
Expenses are covered in accordance with the principles specified in the university directive.
5-Commercialization
After the patent/utility model application is successfully completed, the invention licensing or commercialization the process begins.
Income sharing is done fairly in accordance with the provisions of the university directive.

How to Apply?
- Invention Notification Form (INF) or Design Notification Form (DNF)Please fill out completely.
- Your form tto@atlas.edu.tr forward it to the address.
- In the form, be sure to:
- Details of the invention/design (drawing, table, visual, etc.)
- Rights sharing if there is more than one inventor
- How the invention emerged and its type (service / free invention) must be clearly stated.
Evaluation process
- The application is recorded by Atlas TTO and notified to you.
- If there is a deficiency, it must be reported within 2 months and must be completed within 1 month.
- Preliminary evaluation and patent search are performed.
- It is evaluated by the Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Board (FSMHK) from a scientific and commercial perspective.
- Applications deemed appropriate must be submitted within 6 months at the latest. Turkish Patent and Trademark Officeis directed to.
Important points
- Inventors, their inventions without delay and with a wet signature Atlas is obliged to notify TTO.
- If there is a patent/utility model application already made, this will be done at the latest. 1 in months Atlas TTO must be notified in writing.
- If the FSMHK does not decide within 4 months, free invention counted.
