Atlas University held a symposium for World AIDS Awareness Day

The "World AIDS Day" symposium was held on 01 December 2021 by the Midwifery Department of Istanbul Atlas University (Eileithya's Midwives Club).

Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences Prof. Dr. Aytolan YILDIRIM and Head of Midwifery Department Prof.Dr. The symposium, which started with the opening speeches of Saadet YAZICI; Chairman of the Board of Pozitif-iz Association Önder Bora, ''What is AIDS? What is not? & Current Situation in Turkey and in the World”, from Positive Living Association Mehmet Can Yazicioglu ''HIV awareness, Current Diagnosis and Treatment Processes and Positive Living Association Experiences'', from Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Health Sciences Department of Midwifery Dr. Instructor Member Ezgi Şahin Safe Sexuality and Its Importance, from Süleymaniye Gynecology and Pediatrics Training and Research Hospital Gulnihal ARTUG CANSIZLAR pregnancy and AIDS/HIV attended with presentations.

In addition, midwifery and nursing students accompanied by training booklets and training materials at the stand established by the TAP Foundation (on 1-3 December). “Safe Sexuality” training was given.
