YKS (Higher Education Institutions Exam)is a central exam administered to prospective university students for university entrance.
It is organized every year by ÖSYM and from three sessions consists of:

TYT – Basic Proficiency Test
AYT – Field Proficiency Test
YDT – Foreign Language Test (only for candidates who want to study language)
