The White Coat Ceremony for the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department has taken place.

The "White Coat Ceremony" for students of the Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Department at Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Health Sciences was held in a lively atmosphere with a large turnout.

The White Coat Ceremony, held at the Dr. Ralph A. DeFronzo Auditorium on the Valley Campus, began with opening speeches by our Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences, Prof. Dr. Aytolan Yıldırım, and our Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hikmet Uçgun. The speeches emphasized the importance of the physiotherapy profession for public health and highlighted the necessity of instilling a sense of professional responsibility in the students.

Conference for Future Physiotherapists: "The Past, Present, and Future of the Profession"

During the ceremony, the President of the Turkish Physiotherapists Association, Specialist Physiotherapist Zafer Aksungur, also met with students and guests in his conference titled "The Past, Present, and Future of the Profession." Aksungur shared the development process of the physiotherapy field and made important assessments regarding the future of the profession.

As part of the program, Turkish Program Student Representative Yağmur Berkmen and English Program Representative Seher Battal also spoke and shared their feelings and thoughts.

They donned their white coats in a ceremony.

At the most meaningful moment of the ceremony, the students donned their white lab coats, taking their first steps into their professional lives. This special moment was filled with pride for the students and their families.

The program was also attended by our Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Merih Çetinkaya, our Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, Prof. Dr. Ayşe Ayçiçeği Dinn, and our Director of the Vocational School, Lecturer İlkay Altunsoy.

Istanbul Atlas University continues to educate its students as qualified individuals in the field of health by equipping them with professional knowledge and ethical values.
