STAR, an accreditation body authorized to evaluate the quality assurance of undergraduate programs in social, humanities, and basic sciences, aims to promote excellence in quality assurance and accreditation processes in higher education. Within this framework, the STAR Evaluator Training Program was completed in three phases. The first two phases consisted of theoretical training, while the third and final phase was conducted as practical, face-to-face training. The practical training was held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, hosted by Istanbul Commerce University; during this full-day program, participants carried out practical work related to field evaluation processes.
Dr. Ceylan Merve BİNİCİ, Assistant Professor in the Department of Business Administration at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, has completed a three-stage training process and, as a result of the evaluation, has qualified to become a STAR evaluator.
On behalf of our university, we congratulate him on this achievement, which contributes to strengthening the qualified human resources that will enhance academic quality assurance processes, and we wish him continued success in his work.
