Students enrolled in formal education programs in higher education institutions in 27 EU member states (Annex.1) may benefit from the programme, on the condition that their home institution and ATLAS signed an Inter-institutional agreement.
ATLAS (Erasmus+ Office) has a unit that handles all Erasmus+ mobility activities. This unit is responsible for organizing calls for applications and facilitating incoming student exchange mobility. The application process starts with the determination of the candidates selected from the contracted institutions. Prior to their application, applicants must be formally nominated by their home university.
Undergraduate nominees: Must have completed a minimum of 1 year at their institution before visiting ATLAS.
MS/PhD Students: ATLAS will accept graduate students for exchange only if:
a) They agree to take courses at our institution. Or,
b) They find a Research Supervisor at ATLAS (by themselves) who is ready to accept to study with the student. In this case, the student should submit an acceptance letter from the agreed supervisor during the application period. Please note that it is not possible for Erasmus Office to assign academic supervisors to students who want to conduct research work at ATLAS.
Medium of instruction at ATLAS is English for some of the programmes. Please bear in mind that in order to be able to follow courses offered in English at ATLAS, students are strongly recommended to have adequate level of English, meaning B2 level language competence according to Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (TOEFL (ibt) score of 72-94 or IELTS score of 5.5-6,0).
For the programmes in which the medium of instruction is Turkish, students are recommended to have adequate level of Turkish, meaning B2 level.
Following the completion of student mobility, a certificate of attendance is prepared (FR 340 ERASMUS+ INCOMING STUDENT ATTENDANCE FORM)
