Description of the Activity
The KA171-HED project is a type of project that offers university students and university staff the opportunity to study or gain work experience in a third country not associated to the programme (Annex 1, group C)
Who can participate
Permanent or contract academic staff actually working at Istanbul Atlas University or administrative staff employed full-time or part-time are eligible to apply.
The Staff whose position is at another university and who work under a contract at other university apply for mobility at the university at which they actually work, not at the place where they have employees. As there is no service contract between the staff employed at Istanbul Atlas University and the higher education institution, these persons cannot benefit from staff mobility
Activity Area
Staff Training Mobility is the field of activity offering full/part time employment at Istanbul Atlas University and training in one of the advertised quotas actually working in the facility. Conference participation cannot be supported within the scope of the activity.
Activity Duration
The minimum number of working days is 5 consecutive working days, the maximum duration of the activity is 2 months.
Grant Support
The grant given to staff benefiting from staff training mobility is a contribution and the grant is not intended to cover all costs related to the stay abroad. The final amount to be paid for the mobility period is calculated by multiplying the number of mobility days by the daily grant amount valid for the target country and adding the contribution to travel expenses.

Travel Support Round trip support between third countries associated to the programme and third countries not associated to the programme is calculated using the “Distance Calculator”.
After the respective calculation, the travel allowance is calculated using the following table for the kilometers collected for the distance between 2 points. The number of kilometers calculated in the distance calculator is the round trip for the grant in the table below and is not multiplied by two. The transfer of staff does not affect the distance achieved using the above distance calculation.
Staff who choose Green Travel type are given individual support for up to 4 days for travel days.

No Grant (ZERO Grant) Mobility If the staff wishes, they can participate in the activity without receiving a grant. In order to benefit from the activity without a grant, an application must be submitted and the application must be evaluated together with other candidates. A foreign language certificate (submission of the document) that is equivalent to a foreign language test or an officially valid foreign language test is mandatory. * Staff with disabilities (If they document their situation with a report from the Health Department for Disabled People, +10 points are awarded. Health reports for disabled people must be obtained from public hospitals that the Ministry of Health deems authorized to issue disability reports.)
** In addition to war veterans and their spouses and children as well as the spouses and children of war martyrs, according to Article 21 of the Anti-Terrorism Act of December 4, 1991 with the number 3713 “civil servants are entitled to fulfill this obligation even if they are doing their job at home and abroad or their title has been withdrawn With the spouses and children of persons who, as a result of acts of terrorism due to their obligations under Article 7 of Legislative Decree No. 667 of July 23, 2016, the attempted coup and the terrorist attack of 15.07.2016 Spouses and children of those who have lost their lives as a result of actions that prevent the continuation of this action or disabled civilians as well as their spouses and children will receive preferential treatment when applying for Erasmus staff mobility. +15 points are awarded when the scanned version of the Martyr / Veteran's Family Card issued by the Ministry of Family and Social Policy is submitted during the staff's Erasmus mobility application.
Placement List
The placement list will be announced on the Istanbul Atlas University's Erasmus website. After the placement list has been published, the staff must apply with a petition to the Erasmus office within the 10-day objection period. After examining the objections, the final list will be published in accordance with the application calendar.
Invitation Letter: If the academic or administrative staff didn’t get it from the higher education institution abroad during the application, they obtain an invitation letter from the other institution for the mobility of education.
Lesson Plan: Prepares the plan to train the academic or administrative staff together with the representative of the inviting institution and submits it to the Erasmus Office.
Reserve list: Academic or administrative employees who have not been placed are kept as a reserve list and, in the event of any rejections or further grants by the National Agency, starting with the academic or administrative employee with the highest final grade, beginning with the academic or Administrative staff on the reserve list and with the highest final score Staff will be contacted according to the order in the list. Administrative staff are prioritized in the training activity and activities aimed at developing digital skills are prioritized in the training activity.
