- To teach Turkish and foreign languages domestically and internationally within the scope of relevant legislation, to support language teaching activities, to promote Türkiye and Turkish culture, and to open branches for this purpose.
- To develop programs and methods by conducting applications and research in language teaching, and to collaborate with various institutions and organizations both domestically and internationally within the framework of relevant legislation.
• To collaborate with relevant public institutions and organizations, private sector organizations, and relevant departments of universities in Türkiye on Turkish and foreign language teaching, within the framework of international bilateral agreements and relevant legislation, and to engage in joint education, research, application, and publication activities.
To encourage practical applications and research related to the teaching of Turkish and foreign languages, and to organize seminars, courses, and meetings to disseminate the results of these researches.
- To teach Turkish and foreign languages, to organize trips within Turkey and abroad to introduce Türkiye and Turkish culture to foreigners, to give awards to teaching staff and students, and to provide scholarships to trainees to encourage language learning.
To prepare teaching materials for Turkish and foreign language instruction, to publish books, magazines, bulletins, reports, projects, and brochures, and to participate in various fairs and promotional activities both domestically and internationally for this purpose.
To closely monitor developments in Turkish and foreign languages, and to organize and participate in various seminars, workshops, and similar events both domestically and internationally within the scope of relevant legislation.
- To organize practical training programs for students of Turkology Departments in universities abroad and for final year students and graduates of Turkish Language, Comparative Linguistics and Foreign Languages Departments in universities in Türkiye, and to issue certificates in accordance with the relevant legislation when necessary.
- To expand Turkish language instruction, to prepare distance education programs and exams, to implement them domestically and internationally, and to ensure student and faculty exchange and the sharing of educational resources in cooperation with various universities and language centers abroad within the scope of relevant legislation.
To make Turkish language teaching more effective, we will conduct comparative studies between Turkish and foreign languages.
- To teach Turkish to Turkish children and adults living abroad and/or returning to Türkiye.
To help Turkish children and adults living abroad adapt to their communities and succeed in their studies and careers by teaching them the language of the country they live in.
- To support scientific research and to meet the needs of institutions and organizations by providing translations in various languages.
- To organize language exams in accordance with the relevant legislation and at the request of institutions and organizations.
- To establish social and cultural support courses aimed at improving the foreign language skills of primary and secondary school students, within the scope of relevant legislation.
To develop projects related to Turkish and foreign language teaching, and to participate in national and international projects prepared in this field.
- To organize social and cultural events and form various working groups to enable foreign students learning Turkish at the center to meet and integrate with Turkish students.
To conduct public awareness and promotional activities regarding the University and the Center, and/or to contribute to such activities of the University.
