About the Program
The program aims to produce graduates who can understand the physical, psychological and social changes encountered during the aging process and who can create care plans to increase the quality of life of elderly individuals. During the training, students receive intensive and balanced training in areas such as basic health information, aging psychology, disease information, nutrition, infection control and communication skills.
Students who develop sensitivity to the emotional, social and physical needs of elderly individuals gain the ability to act with empathy, respect, privacy and commitment to ethical values in care services.
What are the qualifications required for the program?
Students who want to enroll in Atlas University Elderly Care Program must achieve sufficient success in YKS (TYT) score type. In addition, the following qualifications are expected from candidate students:
- Interest in the field of health and working with individuals,
- Being patient, careful and responsible,
- Having high empathy and communication skills,
- Being open to developing awareness regarding the care of elderly individuals,
- Sensitivity to ethical principles and professional discipline.

- Basic medical courses such as anatomy, physiology, common diseases in old age and pharmacology,

Students who graduate from the program can be employed in the following areas with the title of "Elderly Care Technician":
