Apart from this, our students will be able to effectively use the necessary techniques, equipment and modern communication tools for daily engineering practices. The most obvious advantage of our program is that it can reach the capacity to work in multidisciplinary fields by benefiting from various departments in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.
The Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program aims to train engineers with the following characteristics:
- Having comprehensive knowledge and expertise in the basic and professional fields of electrical and electronics engineering,
- Competent in transforming their knowledge into practical designs and applications,
- Ready to pursue a career in national and international organizations, establish their own businesses, receive postgraduate education or engage in research and development activities,
- To train Electrical and Electronics Engineers who can follow the developments in their field and produce and implement innovative ideas.
What opportunities does the program offer to its students?
Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) undergraduate students are provided with a common basic education in the first two years of education. During this process, the Electrical and Electronics Engineering program teaches students the basic principles of their disciplines through courses given by our faculty members. EEE students gain depth in the field of Electrical and Electronics Engineering by choosing from a wide range of professional fields in their third and fourth years. Students are provided with the opportunity to choose courses that will teach them a variety of application areas, including Wireless and Optical Communications, Power Systems, Systems and Control, Machine Learning and Intelligent Systems, Integrated Circuits and Systems, Signal Processing and Biomedical Engineering. In addition, they are provided with national and international experience in business life by collaborating with sectors and organizations that are suitable for their areas of interest. In addition, students have the opportunity to further their academic and professional development through exchange programs, double majors, minors and certificate programs.
An important aim of the program is to develop students' practical and professional skills. For this purpose, Atlas University Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department requires students to do at least 24 hours of laboratory work and at least 60 days of internship. The Department Internship Committee helps students find a suitable internship. In addition, students can further enrich their education through exchange programs, double majors, minors and certificate programs.
In which fields can graduates find employment opportunities?
Our graduates can work in various positions such as research and development, design, production, after-sales services, project development and management in companies related to their fields, depending on their individual interests and preferences. In addition to these, Electrical and Electronics Engineers can continue their academic careers as faculty members at universities or researchers at research centers.
