Chairman of the Board of Trustees Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş presented Individual Achievement Awards to Güler Zehra Pelit, who came fourth in the Inter-University Arm Wrestling Turkish Championship, and Fahrettin Emir Ekizoğlu, who became the Turkish Champion in the Inter-University Kickboxing Turkish Championship. At the ceremony, athletes and teams who achieved top rankings in various disciplines were awarded the 5th Traditional Rector's Cup by Rector Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak.
The Atlas University Sports Achievements Award Ceremony, held at the Atlas University Valley Campus Creative Lab, began with opening speeches by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, and the Rector, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak.

Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, noted that it was a source of pride and happiness that the students successfully represented Atlas University. "When we founded Atlas University, our dream was to create a university where young people could develop themselves not only academically but also in every aspect of life, and freely realize their potential," said Dr. Yusuf Elgörmüş, adding:
“These achievements in the field of sports today are a tangible manifestation of the dream we conceived years ago. Seeing our students successfully represent our university in national and international arenas fills us with great pride and joy. Because we designed the university not merely as an institution of education, but as a living ecosystem where young people discover their talents, gain self-confidence, and prepare for the future. These successes are one of the best indicators that we embarked on this journey with the right vision and that our steps are bearing fruit. I believe that in the coming years, Atlas University will achieve even greater successes not only in academia but also in sports, arts, and social contribution.”
Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak: “We aim to raise young people who will shape the future.”
Rector Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak, drawing attention to the importance of sports in strengthening individual development, team spirit, and leadership skills, stated that students make the university proud with their achievements in sports as well as academic success. Noting that university education is a holistic developmental process that shapes an individual's character, leadership skills, team spirit, and relationship with life, alongside academic achievements, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak concluded his remarks as follows:
“The students we are honoring here today inspire us all by combining the discipline, determination, and fighting spirit of sports with their academic lives. At Atlas University, our aim is not only to educate individuals with professional skills, but also to raise physically, mentally, and socially strong, responsible young people who will shape the future. We believe that sports are an integral part of our university culture, and we see the successes our students achieve on national and international platforms as an important indicator of our university's evolving vision. In the coming period, we will continue to increase the number of success stories by continuing our investments supporting sports, healthy living, and student development.”

Fahrettin Emir Ekizoğlu became the Turkish Champion.
Fahrettin Emir Ekizoğlu, who became the Turkish Champion at the Inter-University Kickboxing Turkish Championship held in Burdur between January 15-18, 2026, received great applause at the ceremony. He was presented with an award plaque for his achievement, which best represented Atlas University at the national level.
Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak presented the 5th Rector's Cup.
At the ceremony, athletes and teams who achieved top rankings in various branches within the scope of the 5th Traditional Rector's Cup were awarded. Rector Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak presented the awards to the successful athletes who won the 5th Rector's Cup.

Atlas University Volleyball Team was awarded for its fighting spirit and teamwork in a challenging group with strong opponents at the Inter-University Volleyball Championship held in Istanbul between December 19, 2025 and April 1, 2026.
Basketball Team Finishes Fourth in Istanbul
Atlas University Basketball Team, which finished fourth in Istanbul at the Inter-University Basketball Championship held between March 26 and April 6, 2026, deservedly received an award for its successful performance.
HADO Team Achieves Third Place in Türkiye
Atlas University HADO Team attracted attention by achieving third place in Türkiye at the Inter-University HADO Turkey Championship held between May 13-16, 2026. The team was awarded for its success in the digital and innovative fields of sports.
The football team became the Istanbul Champion.
The Atlas University Football Team, which won the Istanbul Championship at the Inter-University Football Championship held between March 30 and April 20, 2026, was invited onto the stage with great enthusiasm at the ceremony. The team's performance throughout the season was highly appreciated by the attendees.
