At the 22nd National Psychology Congress organized in Bursa by the Turkish Psychologists Association with the theme of "Changing Society, Transforming Individual," Dr. Fatma Göral, a faculty member of the Psychology Department at Atlas University, presented the research she conducted as an oral presentation.
Dr. Göral's study, "Autistic Traits and Theory of Mind: An Examination of Social Cognition by Modality in Adults," conducted with Prof. Dr. Ayşe Ayçiçeği-Dinn and Dr. Wayne Dinn, was met with considerable interest from session participants. The paper attracted attention for its examination of the relationship between autistic traits and social cognition processes in adults and the differentiation of these processes across audiovisual modalities.
The positive feedback received from field experts and participants following the presentation revealed that the study could make significant contributions to the field of social cognition research and neuropsychological assessment.
