Istanbul Atlas University Career Fair Connected Students with Industry Professionals.

Organized for the third time this year by Istanbul Atlas University, the Career Fair brought together students and industry representatives.

Istanbul Atlas University Rector Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak emphasized that the university prioritizes not only academic achievement but also practical experience and professional competencies. He stated that connecting students with the industry while they are still studying is one of their primary goals, adding that they contribute to students' close acquaintance with the business world and aim to cultivate graduates equipped with strong communication skills.

The fair, organized in coordination with the Student Dean's Office and the Career Center and held in the Valley Campus Entrance Foyer Area, provided students with the opportunity to get to know career opportunities closely and establish professional connections.

In his speech at the opening of the fair, Istanbul Atlas University Rector Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak emphasized the importance the university places on students' career development.

Stating that the Career Fair plays an important role in preparing students for professional working life, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak said, “Our Career Fair, which was held this year with the participation of more than 40 companies, will enable our students to communicate directly with sector representatives, shape their career plans more consciously, and prepare for professional working life.”

We aim for career-oriented education.

Emphasizing that Istanbul Atlas University values ​​not only academic achievement but also practical experience and professional competencies, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak stated that connecting students with the industry while they are still studying is one of the primary goals.

Stating that the university contributes to students' close acquaintance with the business world, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak said, “As Atlas University, we consider it among our primary goals that our students are educated not only with academic knowledge but also as individuals equipped with practical experience, professional competence, and strong communication skills. We place great importance on connecting our students with the sector while they are still in their education process through our career-oriented programs.”

Atlas University Attracts Attention with its Employment Success.

Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak stated that the tangible results of Istanbul Atlas University's application-oriented education approach are also being seen, saying, “I would like to express with pleasure that we are seeing the concrete results of our university's strong communication with the sector and its application-oriented education approach. According to the University Monitoring and Evaluation General Report published by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK), Atlas University ranked 6th in Turkey in terms of the employment rate of its graduates within the first 6 months. This success is an important indicator of our determined approach to preparing our students for working life.”

Career Fair Brought Students and Industry Representatives Together

As part of the Career Fair, students had the opportunity to meet one-on-one with human resources representatives from companies in various sectors. Students learned about internship and job opportunities and gained valuable insights into their career planning by benefiting from the experiences of industry professionals.

Continuing to contribute to strengthening university-industry collaboration with increasing company and student participation each year, the Career Fair provided students with the opportunity to have one-on-one meetings with representatives from companies in various sectors.
