Logistics, E-Commerce, and Marketing Students Met with Experienced Figures in the Sector.

May 15 2026

Istanbul Atlas University Vocational School organized a seminar titled "The Key to Success in Logistics: Past Experience, Tomorrow's Dynamics" for students of the Logistics Program and the E-Commerce and Marketing Program.

Mr. Enes Akça, General Manager of Akca Logistics, participated in the event as a speaker. During the program, Mr. Akça shared his experiences in the logistics sector with the students, emphasizing that the sector is not solely about transportation activities; it is a multi-dimensional structure encompassing planning, operations management, customer relations, technology use, sustainability, and human resource management. He also highlighted the importance of sectoral awareness, communication skills, a sense of responsibility, courage, and a continuous learning approach, in addition to theoretical knowledge, in the students' professional development processes.

The event featured valuable insights into the changing dynamics of the logistics sector, the impact of digitalization on operational processes, the importance of supply chain management, and how young people can develop themselves within the industry. Students had the opportunity to broaden their professional perspectives by hearing directly from a sector representative about the current needs of the industry.

As Istanbul Atlas University Vocational School, we believe that such events, which enable students to meet with industry representatives, strengthen university-industry collaboration and make significant contributions to the professional development of our students.

We would like to thank Mr. Enes Akça, General Manager of Akca Logistics, for his valuable knowledge, industry experience, and insightful contributions to the event; Ms. Melek, Communications Specialist at Akca Logistics, for her support in ensuring smooth communication and coordination throughout the event; our academic and administrative staff who contributed to the organization; and all the students who participated.
