In a seminar held at Kağıthane Atatürk Secondary School as part of the "Psychology Public Seminars" series, our university's Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Department of Psychology faculty members Prof. Dr. T. Gül Şendil, Beyza Nur Sonkur, and Tan Mete Şahlanoğlu met with students and parents.
In the seminar moderated by Prof. Dr. T. Gül Şendil, titled "Social Media Use Among Children and Young People" and "Healthy Communication Among Children and Young People: Peer Bullying and Violence," the importance of social media use and what needs to be done for healthy communication were discussed.
Addressing the issues of peer bullying and violence, which occasionally come to the forefront, Prof. Dr. T. Gül Şendil offered recommendations on what needs to be done in the fight against peer bullying and violence.
