Participation in the COP31 Academy Launch Event was ensured.
At the COP31 Academy Launch organized by the Council of Higher Education, the role of higher education institutions in combating climate change, the development of scientific production and research capacity, and solution-oriented academic studies were discussed. The program also evaluated the universities' contributions to sustainability and the roadmap to be followed in the COP31 process.
Following the program, our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak, stated that in the fight against climate change, universities are not only institutions that produce knowledge, but also structures that develop solutions and guide society, and that Atlas University will continue to contribute to our country's green transformation goals with its sustainability-focused research, interdisciplinary collaborations, and scientific output.
Scientific collaborations were discussed at TÜBİTAK.
As part of their Ankara program, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak and Prof. Dr. Ali Sınağ also visited TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Orhan Aydın and TÜBİTAK Vice President Prof. Dr. Mesut Güner.
During the meeting, discussions were held on developing university-industry collaborations, supporting scientific research, strengthening research infrastructure, and exploring joint project and cooperation opportunities that could be implemented with TÜBİTAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey).
Our Rector, Prof. Dr. Ersoy Kocabıçak, stated that strategic collaborations that will increase the scientific production power of universities are of great importance, and that Atlas University will resolutely continue to strengthen its research ecosystem, develop joint projects with national and international stakeholders, and contribute to our country's science and technology goals.
Collaborations with Hacettepe University were evaluated.

During the visit, existing and potential collaborations between Hacettepe University and Atlas University were discussed. Opportunities for cooperation between the two universities were exchanged, particularly in education, research, and joint academic studies.
