Occupational Therapy Department

Occupational therapy is an internationally recognized, dynamic health discipline that aims to maximize the health and well-being of individuals through meaningful and purposeful activities.

Occupational therapists aim to enable individuals to overcome the difficulties they encounter in daily life and to participate fully and independently in social life.

As the Occupational Therapy Department, our goal is to develop professional knowledge and skills at international standards and to cultivate a qualified workforce. In addition to theoretical training provided by our expert academic staff and training laboratories at Istanbul Atlas University Vadi Campus, we also provide clinical practice at Atlas University Hospital, state and private hospitals, and healthcare institutions. Another strength of our program is that it offers a master's program in Occupational Therapy, in addition to an undergraduate program that trains occupational therapists. The master's program fosters the development of qualified faculty who embrace lifelong learning, contribute to the development of occupational therapy services, and contribute to the development of qualified professionals.

Our goal is to train a new generation of occupational therapists who not only apply current professional standards but also expand the boundaries of occupational therapy in light of scientific advancements, making a difference both nationally and internationally. Our core philosophy is to equip our students with the skills and perspective to take on leading roles in the rapidly changing global healthcare system.
