¬ Carrying out the secretariat services of the Scientific Research Projects Commission

¬ Conducting, monitoring, encouraging and coordinating the processes determined by the relevant legislation of the projects supported by national and international organizations in which researchers of higher education institutions work.

¬ Conducting activities related to measuring and evaluating research performance of higher education institution and determining research policies

¬ Carrying out other duties of the top manager regarding Scientific Research Projects in coordination with relevant units.

SRP Project Types

¬ Interdisciplinary Research Projects
These are research projects to be prepared by faculty members from at least two different disciplines (Faculty / Department) from different disciplines in universities or other institutions.

¬ Research Projects in Priority Areas
These are the research projects proposed in the priority areas determined by the BAP Commission, considering the priority sectors and critical technologies envisaged in the Development Plan.

¬ Graduate Thesis Projects
These are research projects that include the graduate theses carried out by the thesis supervisor and, if any, co-advisors with their students.

¬ Young Researcher Support Projects
These are the projects applied by Atlas University faculty members to develop R&D culture and conduct more comprehensive research within 5 years following the date of their doctorate / medicine, dentistry and pharmacy expertise.

Ethics Committee

The approval of the Ethics Committee is required for the acceptance of BAP project applications that will be made with people or involve any kind of human research. If the approval document of project proposals requiring Ethics Committee approval is missing, project applications are considered invalid.

BAP Applications

You can make your project applications every year in September and March to the Rectorate through your Dean's Offices by filling out the relevant forms and in line with the information.
