Istanbul Atlas University Vocational School Optician Program 2nd year students, Inst. See. Within the scope of Volunteering Studies course given under the supervision of İlkay Altunsoy, Bağcılar Medicine Hospital Eye Polyclinic and Istanbul Chamber of Opticians and Opticians, with the device and examination support of Ayhan Demircan, performed an "Eye Scan" for the students of Kağıthane Kocatepe Primary School.
In the project, which started out by saying "Don't let the future of children stay in the dark", a detailed scan was carried out for 2 days for Kağıthane Kocatepe Primary School Kindergarten students and primary school 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students. Within the scope of the screening, 121 of the 342 students who were screened and whose autorefractometer measurement, snell chart test, strabismus test and ishihara tests were applied in accordance with hygiene rules, were not screened and were invited to the Bağcılar Medicine Hospital, which is the hospital of our university, for a free detailed examination.
