First and Emergency Aid Program

Emergency Health Services are medical interventions that must be carried out to protect the life and quality of life of the patient or injured person in situations that occur after any emergency disease or accident and require immediate intervention.

In Emergency Health Services, pre-hospital emergency care is very important for the continuity of life. Health professionals who are usually the first to intervene in critically ill patients or injured people, equipped with knowledge, who know what to do in the face of any kind of incident, who are calm and act according to ethical rules are trained by the first and emergency aid program.

Students who successfully complete the theoretical and practical courses and internship of the program and graduate will have the title of "Emergency Medical Technician / Paramedic".

Structure of Education

In the First and Emergency Aid Program, students are effectively prepared for real work environments through simulation-supported emergency response practices, case-based scenarios and hospital/112 professional practices.

Employment Opportunities

Graduates can work in emergency aid units of public and private hospitals, emergency health service central administration units, emergency aid stations, emergency aid, patient transfer and specially equipped ambulance services, and emergency aid control and command centers.
