MEDEK
MEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs); is an independent, transparent and competent evaluation and accreditation organization established to carry out the quality assurance processes of associate degree level vocational education programs in Türkiye. The steps regarding the establishment of the association were taken to increase the qualifications of vocational schools and their graduates with the encouragement and support of the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) in order to contribute to the qualified workforce within the framework of Türkiye's strategic development plans. With this motivation and the support of our universities, the Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education (MEDEK) was established in 2021. Our association received accreditation authority for 2023 vocational school programs in the health, social and technical fields by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) in 83 in order to ensure the evaluation of the compliance of vocational school programs with the determined standards, quality criteria and performance criteria.
Purpose of MEDEK;
To pioneer the training of professional staff who can follow professional developments, respond to changing workforce needs, have high professional skills and equipment, are innovative and socially responsible, can take initiative, and have the qualifications sought by the relevant sector.
MEDEK Mission;
To contribute to the improvement of the quality of education by providing information, external evaluation and accreditation services for associate degree programs.
MEDEK Vision;
To be a leading organization that certifies the quality of associate degree programs' education and research activities/administrative processes by defining the quality of intermediate manpower with national and international standards and sharing the results with relevant institutions and organizations.

In this context, in our associate degree level vocational education programs; we actively participate in continuous improvement and external evaluation processes in line with the quality assurance principles determined by MEDEK (Association for Evaluation and Accreditation of Vocational Education Programs).
In line with its vision, our university is moving forward with the aim of becoming a higher education institution that is recognized nationally and internationally and contributes to society with a transparent, traceable and student-focused education model in higher education.
In this context, as of the 2024-2025 academic year, accreditation applications for our Operating Room Services, Computer Programming, Information Security Technology, First and Emergency Aid, and Medical Laboratory Techniques programs have been made and the process is ongoing.
