With their project titled "Production of Bacterial Cellulose From Olive Oil Mill Wastes", our academics became finalists in the Global Cleantech Innovation Program, a program that has made a name for itself around the world, by producing bacterial cellulose, which is an alternative to plant cellulose, from olive oil factory wastes without the need to reduce forest areas to obtain cellulose.
