The purpose of Atlas University Opticianry Program is; To train technical personnel, "Opticians", who have general public health knowledge, are enterprising and self-renewing, know the environmental, social and ethical problems related to their profession and their responsibilities, and observe health and safety measures related to their profession.
What are the qualifications required by the program?
Our students who are interested in the Opticianry Program must be successful in the YKS (TYT) score type. In addition, our students are expected to be interested in Physics, Biology, Physiology and basic medical sciences required by the program. In terms of professional maturity and usefulness after graduation; Features such as productivity, knowing how to benefit from scientific data at the highest level, being interested in technical devices, computers and other automation devices are important.

Our program, which offers comprehensive education with an expert academic staff and a multidisciplinary approach, enables our students to gain the highest level of professional experience while studying, thanks to laboratories designed for applied courses and internship opportunities.
We provide experience to our students by offering practice and internship opportunities in our hospitals and laboratories serving within our Faculty of Medicine and University.
We offer the most modern infrastructure to our students at the point of application with our Basic Sciences Application Laboratory, Anatomy, Physiology Laboratories and Basic Physics and Optics Laboratories specially designed for the program.
In which fields can graduates find employment opportunities?
Our students who graduate from the program can open their own optical stores with the title of "Optician", work as responsible managers in optician-related organizations, and work in businesses that make and sell glasses.
