This call; It is always open to applications from Atlas University academic staff and students in order to help them realize their invention ideas by registering them and turn them into added value by commercializing them.

In order for their inventions to be turned into a patent or a utility model, applicants must fill out the attached Invention Notification Form completely and subsequently.

TO THE ATTENTION OF OUR ATLAS UNIVERSITY ACADEMIC STAFF AND STUDENTS WHO MADE THE INVENTION STATEMENT

The principles and principles regarding invention notification are determined within the framework of Article 6769 of the Industrial Property Law No. 121 regarding inventions made in higher education institutions.

¬ The inventor is obliged to notify Atlas University Technology Transfer Office (tto@atlas.edu.tr) of his invention/patent application in writing, with wet signature and without delay.

¬ Notifications include the Invention Notification Form (BBF) and Design Notification Form (TBF) available on the Technology Transfer Office (''Atlas TTO'') website, where all detailed documents related to the invention or design can be made by the inventor or design owner in a way that does not cause loss of time. , drawing, table, figure, visual etc. It will be filled in and sent to Atlas TTO.

¬ In case there is more than one inventor or designer, the rights sharing of the inventors or designers on the invention or design will be determined by mutual agreement in a way that will not cause any controversy in the future, and these rates will be written to BBF or TBF in numbers and words.

¬ The invention or design owners will clearly state how the invention or design was created and whether it is a service invention or a free invention, together with the reasons, in the BBF or TBF.

Evaluation process

¬ Atlas TTO records the BBF and TBF delivered to it and notifies the inventors in writing and without delay of the date and registration number of this notification.

¬ If BBF or TBF is missing, Atlas TTO notifies the inventors or design owners in writing that the deficiencies will be corrected within 2 (two) months. Inventor or design owners correct these deficiencies within 1 (one) month and submit them to Atlas TTO in writing.

¬ Atlas TTO requires that the invention notification submitted through BBF be evaluated by the Intellectual and Industrial Property Rights Board (''FSMHK''), and if it is a service invention, the university shall request full or partial rights to the inventors in writing within 4 (four) months from the date of invention notification. Notifies them.

¬ Atlas TTO conducts the preliminary evaluation of the BBF and the Preliminary Patent search of the inventions that pass the preliminary evaluation, or decides whether a patent office will conduct the Preliminary Search.

¬ Atlas TTO submits to the FSMHK the PFIs that are deemed positive in the preliminary investigation report (''PRR''), ATLAS also provides the FSMHK with the information of all PFIs whose Atlas TTO preliminary evaluation (formal suitability) or PAR's are deemed negative. . FSMHK evaluates the scientific and commercial dimensions of the invention or design.

¬ If the FSMHK does not make a decision within 4 (four) months following the submission of the BBF to Atlas TTO or the notification of the registration application previously made by the inventors to Atlas TTO, the invention becomes a Free Invention. This situation is notified to the inventor in writing. In this case, if the inventor wishes to obtain a patent in his own name for his released invention, he can purchase services from Atlas TTO instead of other patent offices and carry out the registration procedures through Atlas TTO.

¬ Within 4 (four) months from the decision on the service invention to be received in the FSMHK and the entitlement of the University, or within 6 (six) months at the latest from the date of the decision if agreed with the inventors, Atlas TTO patent/utility model application shall be submitted to the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office. performs.

¬ Patent/utility model application made by the inventors without notifying Atlas TTO of the invention; It must be notified in writing to Atlas TTO within 1 (one) month from the date of application.

¬ Atlas TTO submits the previously made application notification to the FSMHK. If Atlas University's right ownership decision is taken in the FSMHK, the University notifies the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office within 4 (four) months from the date of the decision to accept and process the patent/utility model application as its own application. Otherwise, the invention is considered a free invention.

¬ Regarding the invention, the rightful ownership of which has passed to Atlas University; The inventors provide Atlas TTO with all information and documents related to the application and the information, figures, tables, pictures and documents needed in the related processes.
