Endodontics

Endodontics is a branch of dentistry that deals with the treatment of living tissues called dental pulp and the root tip and surrounding tissues.

Under the enamel and dentin layers of the tooth, there is a section called the "pulp" containing the vascular and nerve bundle that ensures the vitality of the tooth. If left untreated, tooth decay causes infection in living tooth tissues and eventually spreads to the tissues around the root. Root canal treatment aims to eliminate infection and pain.

The science of endodontics covers clinical and basic sciences, including the biology of healthy pulp, the cause, diagnosis, prevention and treatment of root pulp and surrounding tissue diseases.

In the endodontics clinic, with modern devices and current techniques, emergency treatment of pulp and periapical pain and acute abscesses, vital pulp treatments, regenerative endodontics, root canal treatment, diagnosis and treatment of traumatic injuries, whitening of discolored dental tissues, renewal of root canal treatment (post removal, broken canal). tool removal, perforation repair, etc.) and restoration of root canal treated teeth are performed.
