Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering (English)

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering primarily aims to provide a strong infrastructure in the fields of mathematics, basic sciences and basic engineering, so that students can define engineering problems in the field of electrical and electronics and find solutions by thinking analytically in the relevant disciplines.

About the Department

Apart from this, our students will be able to effectively use the necessary techniques, equipment and modern communication tools for daily engineering practices. The most obvious advantage of our program is that it can reach the capacity to work in multidisciplinary fields by benefiting from various departments in the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences.

The purpose of the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Program is,

• Having sufficient breadth and depth of basic engineering and professional knowledge in the fields of electrical and electronics,

• Has internalized his knowledge enough to transform it into design and application,

• Able to find the opportunity to work in national and international important institutions and companies, open their own business, undertake postgraduate education and research and development,

• To train electrical and electronic engineers who can follow the developments in their relevant fields and produce and implement innovative ideas.

What are the qualifications required by the program?

Candidates who will choose Atlas University Electrical and Electronics Engineering department must be inquisitive individuals with analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities, a strong sense of curiosity, careful, patient, need to constantly renew themselves.

What opportunities does the program offer to its students?

In the first year, our students will be given mainly basic science courses. Our students, who will begin to take the basic courses of Electrical and Electronics Engineering as of the second year, will have the opportunity to use the experience, knowledge and skills they have acquired in the classroom environment to solve real-world problems by taking elective courses related to the field they want to specialize in the last two years of their education.

By offering our students the opportunity to benefit from the opportunities of our industry and non-university stakeholders through sectoral collaborations as well as the laboratories of our department, we will be able to learn basic engineering concepts as well as the design and analysis of electricity, electronics, circuits and systems, communication systems, electrical energy systems and facilities, electrical machines, power electronics and Opportunities to receive advanced education on subjects such as hardware design are offered.

One of the most important elements of an engineering program is the development of manual dexterity and professional practical skills. For this purpose, at least 24 hours of laboratory work and at least 60 days of internship are required at Atlas University Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Our students will be assisted in finding an internship by the Departmental Internship Committee. In addition, they will be able to continuously improve themselves through exchange programs, double majors, minors and certificate programs.

In which fields can graduates find employment opportunities?

Our graduates of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering work in small and medium-sized enterprises and large-scale national and international companies operating in the fields of consumer electronics, communication systems, embedded systems, industrial control and automation applications, energy production and distribution, automotive industry, internet service provider and defense industry. They can work. Depending on their individual interests and preferences, our graduates can work in various positions in these companies, such as research and development, design, production, after-sales services, project development and management. In addition to these duties, our graduates can also work as academics in research centers and universities.
