Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Medicine The approach to contemporary medical practice based on science and research reflects a dynamic and innovative approach to education. Our training program focuses on encouraging people to train people-oriented doctors who can prioritize health problems and create solutions to deal with them through scientific knowledge.

Istanbul Atlas University Faculty of Medicine It aims to raise students who have the opportunity to make significant contributions to the medical world by establishing national and international communication with the scientific world, observing the latest developments and mastering new medical technology, and who will have a solid level of awareness as well as the use of therapeutic equipment.

The medical profession is an honorable profession that aims to protect the health of individuals and society, and to restore and improve the quality of life of people with impaired health. Our Faculty of MedicineThe education system to be implemented is the integrated medical education system. This education model is based on the principle of teaching the anatomical structures, physiological properties, histological structure and embryological development processes of tissues and organs within a system and all other courses by integrating them with each other. In this way, the student learns the structures, working properties, diseases and treatment methods of tissues and organs within a system as a whole. Medical education will be carried out in two separate main departments: basic medical sciences and clinical sciences. Basic medical sciences courses will be held in modern classrooms and well-equipped laboratories in the new and modern building of our university. Our students will receive pre-clinical skills, attitude and behavior training in our well-equipped simulation laboratory. Education in basic medical sciences will consist of "boards" starting from the first year, covering a whole set of courses that are close to each other in subject matter. The courses included in the board include current basic medical knowledge and laboratory applications in the field of medicine and health.

In clinical sciences, both theoretical and bedside training will be given in our university's own 400-bed modern hospital and by competent faculty members. All major and minor internships will be given by our experienced and competent faculty members at our university hospital.

During your six-year education period, we expect you to not only learn existing medical knowledge and apply it to patients, but also contribute to medical science on behalf of our country with new research. When our students graduate from our university, they will begin their careers not only as good physicians, but also as active scientists who can conduct research and synthesize research results with the clinic.

As administrators and faculty members, we aim for our students to graduate as physicians who are transparent, participatory, open to change and innovation, self-confident, and have the ability to analyze and synthesize.
