About the Faculty

Human and social life is in a significant change. This personal change has physical and mental aspects. The shapers of change are individuals' physical, mental and social structures.

Throughout history, those who have shaped people, society and the whole world have primarily been philosophers, leaders and engineers. Philosophers and leaders look at events and problems from the human and social perspective. Engineers, on the other hand, design, plan, try and succeed in carrying this view from the world of thought and/or imagination to the real world by taking into account logic, reason, scientific values and mathematics.

Different and multiple perspectives on events are required to overcome problems that are difficult to find solutions to with existing information. In addition, using knowledge in one field by transferring it to other fields is often a necessity. This can happen if every individual has 21st century skills. Although there are rapid changes in all fields today, developments especially in science, technology, engineering and mathematics disciplines shape all areas of modern life. Again, good designs and engineering approaches will play a key role in shaping the future and solving possible problems. Especially today, those who shape change are people and societies who can use technology effectively. Change occurs through concrete and abstract developments that take into account design and engineering possibilities. In this context, success for engineering is to overcome existing constraints and reach the envisaged goal by using and developing technological opportunities.

Forming the agenda of the age we live in, Industry 4.0 – 5.0, internet of things, unmanned vehicles, virtual reality, artificial intelligence, big data, lifelike games, reshaping genetic structures, e-commerce, branchless banking, unmanned factories, social media, rapid and transparent evaluation of the security of people and societies, space journeys, efficient use of all resources, simulations of micro and macro problems, development of artificial organs, humanoid robots, 3D printers, software that can prepare programs, medical support and surgery robots, imaging equipment, decision-making support systems, monitoring mental activities and even guidance software. These are applications that are put forward with the engineering approach and synergy of many branches of science. We, personally and as a society, have to adapt to these developments and live in this changing environment.

Atlas University, which has a vision of developing and offering new ones rather than being spectators and users of this dizzying change, welcomes you to the Faculty of Engineering and Nature Programs to include you in a qualified group rather than quantity. In this sense, as Engineers and Scientists, let's build the present and the future together.
