The main purpose of the program is; To ensure that people who want to pursue a career in the field of information technologies acquire technical and managerial knowledge and use this knowledge in their business processes. For this purpose, courses based on data-oriented emerging technologies such as big data systems and analytics, machine learning, artificial intelligence, deep learning and natural language processing have been planned, as well as courses in mathematics, algorithms, computer networks and operating systems, which are the basis of information technologies. Curriculum; It has been enriched with a course covering basic genetics topics, as it provides a basis for topics such as artificial neural networks and genetic coding. The “Special Topics in Information Technologies” course, which includes more specific areas such as information security and encryption, is planned to appeal to their interests. As part of the master's thesis, the student is encouraged to do career-oriented academic work.
The target audience of the program; It consists of people who have at least a bachelor's degree and want to make a career in the field of information technologies. Students who are accepted to the program but do not have an undergraduate or graduate degree in a field related to information technologies may be subjected to a one-year scientific preparation program in which basic mathematics and programming courses are given, taking into account the courses they have previously taken. For graduation, a total of at least 21 courses, of which at least 4 must be compulsory, must be successfully completed, including the seminar course, to complete at least 8 credits.
