However, it is seen that countries that produce technology, develop solutions to current problems and work on the innovative technologies of the future come to the fore. Today, the social and economic progress of countries depends on effective technology management and innovation management. In addition to technological infrastructure, the importance of trained manpower in these fields is obvious. In the field of technology and innovation management, those who recognize the problems in the world, can produce creative solutions to them, can choose appropriate technologies and apply them by bringing together the right components (human, technology, energy, time, ...), think creatively and innovatively, have strong entrepreneurial and social skills and have technological literacy. There is a need to train people with academic education.

"Taking part in the entrepreneurial and innovative university ecosystem" is one of the strategic goals of Istanbul Atlas University in its 2021-2025 strategic plan. In this regard, with the program opened, basic information will be provided to individuals in the field of technology and innovation management in order to gain an interdisciplinary perspective and to make correct strategic planning and management. In addition, individuals will be provided with the necessary conceptual and practical knowledge to be able to design and transform the technology and innovation strategies of the private sector and to be equipped with skills that will enable them to implement these strategies together with the teams in the sector they work in.
