Applies interventions that require technical skills related to surgical nursing and uses technical, information and communication technologies related to the field, adopts ethical principles and prioritizes all initiatives. Makes significant contributions to improving patient outcomes by conducting intra- and interdisciplinary team collaboration using appropriate communication techniques. Surgical nursing doctoral program enables nursing master's degree graduates to acquire advanced knowledge of surgical nursing and the ability to conduct scientific research in this field.

The nurse manager in the institution where he/she works, who meets the care needs of surgical patients and their families in line with evidence-based approaches, conducts studies that create a level of evidence, can use critical thinking skills to analyze problems before, during and after surgical intervention and create solution suggestions, and is responsible for the development of the patient/family, colleagues and students. To train graduates who take part in educational activities, become educational nurses, work as academicians in public, private and foundation universities, and publish nationally and/or internationally.
